Sova partners with The Aspen Institute’s College Excellence Program, and HCM Strategists on a multi-year project to tackle persistent transfer challenges across the country. Working with institutional leaders, policy makers, and practitioners in three states (Minnesota, Texas, and Virginia), and building on significant national momentum, the partnership seeks to pave the way for dramatic improvements in outcomes for baccalaureate-seeking students who begin at community colleges. This effort takes a comprehensive approach that incorporates policy, leadership, institutional practice, and strategic communications to foster the conditions for scaled and measurable improvements in attainment rates for baccalaureate-seeking community college students, including the large number of low-income students and students of color who begin education in the two-year sector.
Working with Sova ensures results. Having been a part of a large partnership that Sova facilitated, they created agendas that led to meeting objectives, facilitated dialogues that led to intended outcomes and when necessary, entered vague, and murky circumstances, to bring clarity. They did all of this so well, that the Center for Community College Student Engagement hired them to help work with us, as well.
